LINUS!

Quite a day so far. Spend the morning and afternoon constructed sound panels for the studio. Click on the pic for a closer look. They came out really nice! Next up, a quick bite before rocking the house at Red Lion (University) @ 10 pm. We are going to play 8 songs or so. And perhaps most importantly, we are finally selling our brand new album, “White Marks on a White Wall”! So come down, listen to the jams, then buy the record and keep rocking in your car, home, sleep. Not to be missed!

Took a day off from work to put some quality time into the LinusHQ. Paid off big. Thanks E for hooking it up with the truck. Transported the bulk of the mats to the studio, along with green paint for some serious rolling. Might add another coat if needed.

This is how sound panels are born...

After Dave dropped off the precious cargo (see previous post), I headed out with my brother to purchase/pickup a box of raw material. 4 feet x 2 feet x 2 inches times 12 = the first phase of sound treating the Linus HQ. Going to take some work, but the room should be rock ready in about a 2 weeks. Stay tuned for more photos.

The band is currently on summer vacay for the next 2 weeks. After a furious effort to ramp up new songs, and retool old ones, we need to unwind a bit. That said, we have signed onto a show in August (more details to come), and are locking in the date/details of our upcoming CD release party. Also, the new crop of songs are being refined for studio recording. Expect big things.
